I worked at WSD as a Customer Order Engineer from 1977 to 1980. I worked with Larry Young and Ned Sergi. I remember others in this guest book including Don Shaw, Joe Bedard and Tom Teager. It has been a long time and it was very nostalgic reading the entries.
We have a Sturtevant fan in our 1928 theatre here in Hoquiam. It's nice that you are keeping this historic information!
John W. Faulkner of Cohasset testified in the 1921 trial that he learned his trade at B. F. Sturtevant's and got out of the trade about 1902. Is there a record that shows John W. Faulkner at Sturtevant? It seems to me that Faulkner must have been born in the 1880s. 1884 to 1889.
I am the son of Adelbert Mutimer one of the sales engineers that went to war. I am also and agent for the New York Blower Co - the fan tradition is deep in the Mutimer family. I have some old pre WW2 BFS literature if your interested.
As an apprentice in your Denton Works (a happy experience )it was sad to read of its closure. It gave me the basis for later CEng status in the IMech E. However good luck for the future.
